1.        Ask Yourself if You’re Thirsty or Hungry. It sounds obvious but you’d be surprised at how many people confuse hunger for thirst. If you feel like you need a snack, have a drink of water or juice first. If you still feel hungry then pick up some fruit.
2.        Eat Treats Away from Home. To avoid the temptation of indulging at home, have a treat meal or drinks in a restaurant or bar. That way you’ll be less likely to splurge of leftovers the next day. However, limit yourself to one treat day per week.
3.        Incorporate Protein in Every Meal. Believe it or not, protein is a lot more filling than carbohydrates and fats; therefore, you’ll feel fuller for longer and will be less likely to eat unhealthily later on. Protein includes chicken, nuts, cheeses, beans and yoghurt.
